Military & Veterans
Tami Price is a U.S. Air Force veteran and Military Relocation Professional. She helps service members, veterans, and military households buy and sell around Joint Base San Antonio, with VA financing and VA loan assumptions handled by someone who understands both the process and the deadline. Tami grew up in a military household and entered real estate in 2007, so military moves are not a specialty she added later. They are a reason she practices real estate at all.
The three JBSA installations
Joint Base San Antonio spans more than 35 miles across the metro, so the right area for a Lackland assignment is different from the right area for a Randolph assignment. Tami works through commute, timeline, and housing stock for each installation with every client.

Tami served in the U.S. Air Force and grew up in a military household. She knows PCS deadlines, housing allowances, and the pressure of a report date from lived experience.

Tami gives clients the data and the options, and tells them when the numbers do not support the outcome they hoped for.
Surrounding communities
The communities around Joint Base San Antonio each fit a different commute and a different housing budget. Tami guides incoming families through Boerne, Cibolo, New Braunfels, Schertz, Camp Bullis, and San Antonio itself to find the right fit.
A Hill Country community northwest of San Antonio, commonly compared for Camp Bullis commutes and the north side of the metro.
A growing community northeast of San Antonio with newer construction, a practical base for daily commutes toward the east side.
Northeast of San Antonio along the Guadalupe River, an established town with an active housing market of its own.
Sitting between San Antonio and New Braunfels on the I-35 corridor, commonly compared for commutes in either direction.
The northwest training area; surrounding neighborhoods are part of every Camp Bullis commute discussion.
The metro's largest housing market, with options near downtown and across Bexar County at every price point.
VA financing
A VA loan can be a strong fit for buyers in Texas, with no down payment required in most cases and competitive terms. A VA loan assumption lets a qualified buyer take over an existing VA mortgage at its original rate, which can be valuable when market rates are high. The entitlement rules differ depending on who assumes the loan, so Tami helps both buyers and sellers understand what applies to their situation before they choose a route.
Remote & PCS moves
Remote buyers and sellers make major real estate decisions without standing in the house. Virtual showings, detailed area guidance, and remote inspection and closing coordination keep the process under control. Tami's job is to make sure clients understand what they are agreeing to, even at a distance, and to protect their timeline from start to close.

The earlier Tami is in the picture, the more options stay on the table. She maps the calendar backwards from the report date so decisions fit the real deadline, even at 60 days.
Tour length, monthly cost, and market timing decide rent versus buy. When a VA loan assumption is in play, Tami walks through whether the math and the entitlement rules work.
Commute to Lackland, Fort Sam Houston, Randolph, or Camp Bullis is weighed against budget and housing stock. Tami maps the real routes and real commute times with each client.
Virtual showings, remote inspections, and out of state closing are an established part of her process, so a service member can move without standing in the house.
